The Opportunity:

Perkins Eastman has an exciting opportunity in our 40-person Boston office. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Project Manager with project management experience in academics projects (K-12 and Higher Ed) in the greater Boston area. This is an immediate opening in our Boston office for someone aspiring to be a lead project manager on exceptional projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively in a dynamic office setting, contributing to all phases of work.
  • Manage project staffing, accounting, schedule.
  • Lead communications among internal team, consultants, owner, and contractors.
  • Manage agreements and authorizations with owners and consultants.
  • Support excellence in delivering publicly bid work.
  • Coordinate logistical aspects of design deliverables.
  • Contribute to the work of studio project management committee to advance excellence.
  • Maintain project records including communications, agendas, minutes, and reports.
  • Advance the performance of projects through establishment and guidance of project team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master of Architecture Degree.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience
  • Preferably experience with Public Bid 149 and 149A
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the management of complex architectural projects.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience and passion for high performance, sustainable architectural design.
  • Proficiency with Revit.
  • Passion for and strong understanding of sustainable design.
  • Phius, CPHD, LEED and/or WELL accreditations.
  • Architectural registration is strongly preferred.

Gensler’s San Jose office is looking for a multi-talented Technical Designer to join our growing Advanced Tech team.   • Planning, developing, and executing technical documentation which may include interpreting, organizing, and coordinating project team assignments
  • Direct and coordinate production of schematic, design development and construction documents in collaboration with Project Manager
  • Perform construction administration duties (e.g., RFI’s, RFP’s, change orders, etc.)

Healthcare Project Manager is a project leadership position with responsibility for architectural design and technical production of projects. Perkins Eastman covers multiple practice areas including education, healthcare, senior living and housing. We are seeking an individual with strong technical and communication skills working within the design team to create exemplary buildings to suit clients’ and users’ needs.

  • Manage the overall project through all design phases including client interaction, schedule and financial performance. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential.
  • Assist Principal-in-Charge with generating Design Services Proposals
  • Understand contracts and run projects from inception through to project closeout.
  • Manage project teams, determining staffing assignments required to meet project milestones.

  • Manage and/or generate details, both exterior and interior within a Revit context
  • Lead in coordination with consultants and design team

  • Quality control of the contract documents
  • Lead all aspects of the Construction Administration phase including meetings, submittals and preparation of field sketches.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience.
  • Must possess OSHPD/HCAI experience.
  • Must have experience with medium to large healthcare project.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Familiarity with Deltek Vision Software a plus
  • Proficient with computer-assisted design software such as Revit and AutoCAD
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
  • Passion for and fundamental understanding of sustainable design.
  • CPHD, LEED and/or WELL accreditations, progress toward licensure (NCIDQ) are pluses.

The ideal candidate will excel in collaborative work environments and demonstrate versatility in design priorities, styles, and project delivery methods. This role encompasses a blend of architectural and strategic planning projects, along with business development responsibilities at both regional and state levels.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively in a dynamic office setting, contributing to all phases of architectural work.
  • Lead and support strategic planning projects in Pittsburgh and around the country, in all of the Pittsburgh practice areas.
  • Represent Perkins Eastman at professional organization events, committees, and other associations.
  • Support with business development and client relationships in Pittsburgh.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master of Architecture Degree.
  • Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience.
  • Ability to develop, communicate and present design concepts.
  • Effective communication skills and excellent graphic presentation skills.
  • Experience and passion for high performance, sustainable architectural design.
  • Proficiency with Revit, Sketch-Up and Adobe Creative Suite is required. Rhino or Environmental analysis design software.
  • Passion for and fundamental understanding of sustainable designCPHD, LEED and/or WELL accreditations, progress toward licensure (NCIDQ) are pluses.

Project Manager is a project leadership position with responsibility for architectural design and technical production of projects. Perkins Eastman covers multiple practice areas including education, mix-use, largescale, healthcare, and housing.

We are seeking an individual with strong technical and communication skills working within the design team to create exemplary buildings, specifically healthcare and large-scale projects to suit clients’ and users’ needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall healthcare or large-scale projects through all design phases including client interaction, schedule and financial performance. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential.
  • Assist Principal-in-Charge with generating Design Services Proposals
  • Understand contracts and run projects from inception through to project closeout.
  • Manage project teams, determining staffing assignments required to meet project milestones.
  • Responsible for all aspects of project management including budgeting, staffing, billing and consultant billing.
  • Manage and/or generate details, both exterior and interior within a Revit context
  • Lead in coordination with consultants and design team
  • Coordinate material identification and specifications
  • Quality control of the contract documents
  • Lead all aspects of the Construction Administration phase including meetings, submittals and preparation of field sketches.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture is required.
  • Minimum of 6 to 10 years’ experience.
  • Must possess OSHPD/HCAI experience to work on healthcare projects.
  • Must have experience with small to mid-level healthcare project.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Familiarity with Deltek Vision Software a plus
  • Proficient with computer-assisted design software such as Revit and AutoCAD
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
  • License preferred.
  • Passion for and fundamental understanding of sustainable design.
