Meet Our Trainers

Learn form the best when you use our green building trainers. GBES provides in-house LEED professionals to teach each of our online and in-person classes. All of our trainers have taken and passed the new LEED (and/or WELL and SITES) credential exams.

Charlie Cichetti

Charlie Cichetti, CEO

Charlie has more than 15 years of experience in commercial construction, real estate development, project management, and LEED consulting. Charlie has worked on over 45 Million SF of LEED, Energy Star, and Retro-Commissioning (RCx) projects for clients ranging from
Jones Lang LaSalle and Hines to JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley. He is also a sought after trainer and speaker on green building topics.

Kristina I. Bach, Vice President of Innovation
AIA, NCARB, WELL AP, LEED AP BD+C,
ID+C, O+M, ND, HOMES, Fitwel Ambassador

Kristina earned both her Master of Architecture and her Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee along with certificates in Sustainable Design and Historic Preservation. She has successfully led over 100 projects achieving their LEED certification goals and has also worked on a variety of projects pursuing WELL and LBC certification. To accompany her great success in the field, Kristina holds the title of the fifth person in the world to obtain all five LEED AP specialties as well as being an early adopter in the WELL AP program.

 

Kelsey Alexander, Sustainability Consultant
LEED AP O+M

Kelsey graduated from Emory in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with a minor in Sustainability. At SIG, Kelsey has worked on both LEED Existing Buildings (EBOM) and New Construction (NC) certifications, as well as provide support for various Fitwel projects. She also provides support to project team’s ESG reporting through quarterly reporting, managing GRESB reporting for several REITs, and researching and helping publish GRI reporting indicators for clients. In her free time, Kelsey loves pursuing new hobbies such as tennis and yoga.

Jenn Mahon, Senior Sustainability Consultant
WELL AP, LFA, GGP,
Fitwel Ambassador, LEED Green Associate

Jenn graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelors of Design in Architecture and a minor in Sustainability Studies. Shortly after she went on to receive her Masters of Studies in Sustainable Design from Boston Architectural College. Prior to the SIG team, Jenn began her professional career as a BIM (building information modeling) Coordinator for a general contractor on commercial buildings, and finished her time there as an Energy Engineer working on various building energy analysis components. With over 9 years of LEED experience in new construction, major renovations, commercial interiors and tenant fit-outs, and existing buildings under her belt, Jenn makes an amazing addition to the SIG team. In her free time she enjoys hanging by lakes, traveling over seas, and teaching yoga.

 

Asa Posner

Asa Posner, Senior Sustainability Manager
LEED AP BD+C, O+M

Asa Posner graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emory University with a degree in Environmental Studies. He has worked as a LEED Project Manager for the last several years and has had a role on over 150 LEED projects in various market sectors. Asa’s primary interest in sustainability involves
the effects of urbanization and the built environment on ecosystem health. Asa was a three-time All-American tennis player in college.

Monica Gonzalez

Monica Gonzalez, Vice President of Development & Strategic Planning
LEED AP BD+C, O+M, ID+C

Monica earned her Masters of Science in Building Construction and Integrated Facility Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the CIDA (formerly FIDER)-accredited Interior Design program at the University of Georgia. Her background is unique in that she has managed sustainability in-house for a real estate owner/manager and now leads the consulting team at SIG.

Jessye Vitier, Sustainability Consultant
LEED Green Associate, Fitwel Ambassador

Jessye recently graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Biology with a concentration in Ecology. She plans to further her education by attending graduate school at Denver University in the summer of 2020 and obtain her M.S. in Environmental Policy and Management specifically in Energy and Sustainability. Prior diving into Ecology, Jessye attended culinary school and worked as a sous chef for about two years. She then started working at Kaufmann Clinic where she was a Nursing Supervisor for eight years. When she is not studying, Jessye likes to spend her free time collecting indoor plants (collection is currently at 42 different species), as well as hike, cook and reading.

Bradley Vogel, BD+C Project Coordinator
LEED Green Associate

Bradley earned his Master of Science in Sustainable Management from the University of Wisconsin’s online extension program in 2017 and his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from the University of Minnesota’s College of Education and Human Development in 2015. Prior to joining the SIG team, Bradley managed the U.S. Bank Stadium. During his tenure there, he oversaw a zero-waste Super Bowl, a silver sustainability certification by the Council for Responsible Sport for the 2019 NCAA Final Four Tournament, and was one of the key figures behind the LEED Platinum certification for Operations and Maintenance using LEED V4.1 criteria, making it the first of its kind for any NFL stadium. With many great accolades surrounding his name, Bradley makes an amazing addition to the SIG team. In his free time he enjoys hiking, snowboarding, yoga, and camping.
