Learn how various Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) standards contribute to earning points within LEED v5 BD+C, ID+C, and O+M through the use of certified mass timber and wood and paper products. Also hear an overview of the new SFI Urban & Community Forest Sustainability Standard and ways it aligns with and could potentially support LEEDv5 Cities.
By the end of this webinar, attendees will be able to:
- Understand how SFI-certified wood products contribute to points within LEED v5 BD+C and ID+C rating systems.
- Review and identify how to calculate a LEED Multi-Attribute Score for various product certifications and eco-labels within the new MR Credit 4: Building Product Selection & Procurement (BPSP) and MRpc 181: Multi-Attribute Structure, Enclosure, Hardscape, and Other Building Materials Project Priority Credit.
- Learn how SFI-certified paper products contribute to points within the LEED v5 O+M rating system.
- Understand the value of the new SFI Urban and Community Forest Sustainability Standard and how it supports the goals and requirements of LEED v5 Cities.
