GBES, in collaboration with ClimateFirst, presents a webinar exploring the new resiliency requirements introduced in LEED v5 and their growing importance amid increasing climate risks. Attendees will gain practical insights into the updated prerequisites and credits, discover how to meet them using ClimateFirst’s data-driven tools, and understand how resiliency planning enhances certification outcomes and long-term building performance. The session will also address integrating resiliency into broader compliance, decarbonization, and risk management strategies to drive greater value across real estate portfolios.

Learning Objectives By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

• Understand the urgency of climate resiliency and identify at least three key climate risks impacting buildings in a specific region.

• Define the key resiliency requirements introduced in LEED v5 certification.

• Identify tools and approaches to assess climate risk and implement effective resiliency strategies.

• Develop a strategic approach to integrating resiliency measures in alignment with business objectives and risk mitigation plans.
