DESCRIPTION:Building a credible greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory is the foundation of effective climate reporting and successful third-party assurance. This webinar will provide practical guidance on developing a verification-ready GHG inventory\, including defining organizational boundaries\, identifying emission sources\, applying emission factors\, and implementing effective data management practices. Attendees will better understand Scope 1\, 2\, and 3 emissions; source data traceability; materiality and risk assessments; and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes. The session will also explore the differences between limited and reasonable assurance\, highlight common verification findings\, and share best practices to improve data quality\, transparency\, and audit readiness.
