Waste heat is present in almost all industries and processes. Opportunities exist to put this waste heat to use economically in orde r to reduce the energy consumption in the plant. The purpose of this course is to identify opportunities to recover waste heat, and the equipment used to recover waste heat. The process for calculating waste heat recovery will also be addressed, along with the fac tors that influence the feasibility of waste heat recovery.
