This one-hour course explains the how LEED building design and construction materials impact inbuilding wireless coverage. The course examines the impact of green building materials – low e glass, new cement mixtures, etc – can result in decreased wireless coverage. The course recommends alternatives – including the use of distributed antenna systems (DAS) – to ensure ubiquitous wireless coverage for LEED building tenants. The course also uses a case study of a successful LEED/inbuilding implementation to illustrate the topic.
