The primary function of the HVAC system is to provide an environment with acceptable temperature, humidity, and contaminant levels.T his introductory seminar discusses some basic fundamentals with the evolution of indoor air quality (IAQ), the importance of IA Q,th e costs associated with it, and various technologies for helping to achieve good IAQ. Special attention will be given to the r ole of air cleaning to ensure good IAQ and how air cleaning can favorably impact energy consumption and operating costs.This s eminar will be found most useful by architects, mechanical engineers, facilities managers, energy managers, energy auditors and th ose interested in learning more about air quality solutions for LEED certified buildings.
