Building codes are being reviewed and updated to improve minimum efficiency standards. Propane gas applications in the ho me are energy efficient, economical to operate and have a low environmental impact. Using propane gas as the primary energy sourc e can help in both green home design programs and to earn tax incentives for new and existing homes. The narration serves as the instructor; learners can read a long with the narrator and view the screen at the same time, similar to typical live instruction. After completing the course lea rners must t ake a 10-question quiz; at least 8 of 10 questions must be answered correctly to earn credit for the learning unit. S tart-to-finisht his course should take between 50 and 60 minutes to complete. A certificate of completion can be printed for self- reporting and reco rd-keeping needs. No prerequisite knowledge is required, but basic familiarity with the LEED Rating Systems wil l be beneficial.
