Eileen Gohr, the GBES Director of Education, will be in Washington, D.C., this week for a three-day Education Partner Summit sponsored by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
USGBC is a private membership-based nonprofit organization that promotes sustainability in building design, construction and operation. Through its partnership with the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI), USGBC offers a suite of LEED professional credentials that recognize expertise in the field of green building.
Over the years the education partnership with USGBC has strengthened our position as an industry leader in LEED exam preparation. This week’s Education Partner Summit brings together the USGBC faculty and partner executives from around the country to discuss a wide range of topics leading toward improving services to clients. Among the many agenda items will be presentations and workshop sessions on the production of high-caliber materials, case studies of successful product development and methods to increase the effectiveness of the partnership with USGBC.
